Lure fishing flies work by attracting the trout to it.

Tied to deceive the fish into thinking they are small fry or other pond life which is a big part of the trouts main diet.

Normally bright coloured that acts as an attractor or more realistic to invoke bites.

Can be fished slow or fast, sinking or floating line, infact whatever your retrieve is these lures will gat trout into your net

Really fluffy lures like zonkers or budgies can be fished with a short sharp pulling retrieve to add as much movement to the materials as possible to get them trout.
